Church Bible Camp Shares a Banner with Girls School in Haiti

The parishes of St. Joseph’s and Immaculate Conception hosted their annual Bible Camp the last week of July. The grade 7 & 8 children at the camp, along with their leaders, decided to make a banner to share with St. Agnes School. The banner shows houses in Haiti and in Canada with footsteps on either side of a road depicting how we all “Walk Humbly with God”, regardless of where we live in this world. We presented this wonderful piece of art to, Francoise, the principal of St. Agnes, and Father Adius, the Priest of the parish. We then visited some classrooms to show some of the girls. Father had them read it in English, which was a lot of fun as you can hear/see in the video. They all were amazed it was done by grade 7/8’s with help and how thoughtful it was for them to think of them “way down in Haiti”.
