There is a shortage of fuel. When fuel is in stock the cost has risen from $2 to $25 per gallon. Hospitals are closed as there is no electricity. Shawn, at HBS, only runs the generators for 3-4 hours in the morning and at night. Schools are unable to feed children as many of the agencies that support feeding programs will not ship food as it will get highjacked by the gangs and sold at very inflated prices.

General Donation to PPH
We thought we would add this to the items for those who would prefer to donate in lieu of purchasing one of the items above.Your donation would help in many ways as per the pictures showing Dalida ready to go to school, or children eating, or children in a new classroom, or those in the orphanage, or children like Geralda in the last two pictures. We met her in March of 2013, in the orphanage, suffering from severe malnutrition. This is Geralda in February of2020 the last time we were there, now living the in Foster home and going to school.
