In March of 2022 there was a flash flood in the community of Limbe and surrounding area. This happened around 4 a.m. and surprised people.
We were able to send money to Theonel and he shared with more than 25 families he know who were in the most need.
We have been so blessed all through COVID with the many benefactors we have here in Canada as well as in other countries who continue to support us. We are very fortunate to have the many trustworthy people (Intermediaries) in Haiti who receive the money we send. We have ongoing conversations with them to know what the biggest needs are e.g. feeding programs or school costs or tuitions or in some cases repairs/desks/chairs and they do their best to get the most for the funds we send.
The Haitian people are so very thankful for PPH and all its supporters do for them. As Theonel says in the video we made “Thank you, thank you, thank you…………. Because without them, I can say. I will do nothing myself….
We have watched this video and shared it in many presentation we have done and it still brings a tear…. So Marg and I join Theonel and the Haitian people and say thank you Lord and all you have placed in our lives. We would not be able to do what we have done since 2004 without ALL of YOU. An Amazing Journey for sure.
