French Books Excite Students in Haiti sent from Jeanne Sauve School, Stratford

The priests and principals, at the schools we support, are always asking us if we are able to bring French books for their libraries so the students will have reading material. This year Jeanne Sauve school in Stratford was housecleaning their library and classrooms and donated over 800 french story books. This is one of the reasons Marg and I drove to Fort Pierce, Florida and flew into Haiti on Missionary Flights International on a DC-3. We also took in donated plumbing supplies, over counter medicines, prenatal and children’s vitamins among other items. We delivered the French books to 3 school libraries, St. Dominique Savio school in Carrefour des Pere, St. Agnes school in Limbe and Notre Dame school in Ranquitte. The children, along with the principals and teachers, were very excited to receive the books and put them into use. We look forward to being able to do this again in the future for other schools.
